Niedawno, w polskich drogeriach pokazały się cienie w płynie firmy Rimmel z serii Scandaleyes. Były hitem na całym świecie praktycznie od dnia premiery i nic dziwnego. Od razu kupiłam sobie dwa odcienie, Rich Russet i Golden Bronze. Pierwszy, momentalnie skojarzył mi się z innym kremowym cieniem, czyli jednym z 24h Tattoos, On and on Bronze od Maybelline.

     Recently, I saw that polish drugstores got the Scandaleyes liquid shadows from Maybelline. They were huuge hit, when they came out and no wonder why. Poland had to wait for them for a long, long time, but they're finally here. I got two shades, Rich Russet and Golden Bronze. The first one, immediately reminded me of different creamy shadow, one of the famous 24h Tattoos from Maybelline, On and on Bronze .


      Oba cienie opierają się na podobnym koncepcie. Są kremowe, mają być szybkie i łatwe w aplikacji i po zaschnięciu stają się wodoodporne i praktycznie nie do zdarcia. Różni je głównie konsystencja. Cień Maybelline jest bardzo gęsty najlepiej nałożyć go palcem i szybko rozetrzeć wszystkie krawędzie. Zasycha naprawdę szybko i po fakcie, dość ciężko o jakiekolwiek manewry. Jedno jest pewne, dopóki go nie zetrzemy, i to czymś tłustym, będzie się trzymał powieki i nie będzie się rolować. Cień Rimmela, na początku wygląda jak niezbyt zachęcający błyszczyk, głównie przez opakowanie. Moim zdaniem, aplikator nabiera trochę za dużo produktu i robi się bałagan. Rich Russet jest zdecydowanie rzadszy, więc mamy o wiele więcej czasu przy nakładaniu i rozcieraniu. Możemy nałożyć go na powiekę i spokojnie poszukać pędzelka do roztarcia.

      Both eyeshadows are based on the same concept. They're creamy and are supposed to be easy and fast to apply. After they set, they become water and smudgeproof. What is different is the consistency. The shadow from Maybelline is very thick and it's better to apply it with fingers and quickly blend the edges. It sets very quickly and after that, it's really hard to change anything. When the shadow is set, it's going to stay on the lid as long as we decide to wash it off and it won't crease at all. The eyeshadow from Rimmel looks like a lipgloss, but not the kind of color anyone would like to wear (maybe in the 90s?), mainly because of its packaging. I think, the aplicator gets too much of the product and it's probably going to be messy in a week. The Rich Russet is much thinner, so we get much more time for applying and blending. We can put it on the lid and then safely search for the right brush.




     Cienie różni konsystencja i opakowanie, ale kolory są niemal identyczne. To BARDZO błyszczące, średnie, dość ciepłe brązy. Wydaje mi się, że Rich Russet po roztarciu jest troche jaśniejszy, ale może to być kwestia konsystencji. To bardzo przyjemne codzienne kolory, na których może opierać się cały makijaż oka. Trochę cienia na powiekę, może jakaś lekka kreska, tusz i koniec. Nic prostszego.

     The eyeshadows have different formula and packaging, but the colors are almost identical. They are VERY shimmery. They're both quite warm medium browns. I think Rich Russet gets a tiny bit lighter when blended, but it may be just in the consistency. They're both very nice every day smoky colors, which can make the whole eye look. A wash of color on the lid, some eyeliner, mascara and you're ready to go. Could it get any easier?
